Oscar Peterson (1925-2007) was a Canadian jazz pianist and composer. Duke Ellington named him ‘the Maharaja of the keyboard‘. Peterson published more than 200 records, won eight Grammy Awards, as well as numerous other prices and honours in the time of his career. He is said to be one of the best jazz pianists of all times, who performed thousands of live concerts during his career that lasted more than 60 years. Venue: Cologne-Guerzenich
